Does anyone know or have used a early model Land Rover indicator stalk in place of the original factory item on a mark1 Escort or anyother stalk?
Finding a replacement stalk is not as easy or cheap as one had hoped for.

I dont know if the length of the stalk is right but everything else looks pretty close.
Maybe worth a try.

I use an early Landy one on mine. Need to rewire it as doesnt plug in but easy job to do.

I did a few of these, the plug needs cutting and swapping for your escort one.  The centre hole needs packing out I used self adhesive high density foam from Clark Rubber.  The screw hole for the clamshell may not line up.  I think there was a slight change in the moulding as the first ones I did worked OK, the last lot a couple of people were not happy with, but its the only option

I have now ordered an indicator stalk assembly from the UK to suit a Mk3 Land Rover.
I will post the outcome once I have the item in hand.
