Hi all
Anyone know if mk1 rear springs are handed left and right or are they the same?, mines sagging like crazy drivers side, picked up second hand set, just wondering if they are?

Not that I'm aware of? My mk1 seems to do the same though..

Generally no, unless they have been reset at some stage and the spring maker has deliberately boosted the drivers side given it carries all the weight of the Fuel tank and driver in a MK1.  You would be able to notice that in the spring pack though if it had.

Mine did the same I took the shocks out and the RHS one was absolutely rooted. After replacing the shocks it went back to normal ride height but I'm sure the springs are tired to cause she tramps like all hell.

Possibly also from the way in which the twisting force from the drivetrain acts on the springs.  I had mine reset about a million years ago, and the guy who did them told me which spring to put on which side for that reason.

So your saying they made the drive-side spring slightly taller or something?
I would have thought new springs, perhaps uprated a bit would simply fix it.
