As I see, you do it really professionally here! Very nice. I need your piece of advice... I need to just repaint my car, because of some huge scratches. And I want to protect the paint somehow this time. Some of my friends used products from producer. What do you think of such protectors? Have you used them? I need you suggestion

Sorry I haven't heard of producer products. I painted using an acrylic paint from my local paint shop, put on 4 coats of colour and another 4 coats of clear, a light cut all over then finished with cornubia wax. This was my first attempt at spray painting so practiced on the engine bay and an old bonnet first. Also watched a lot of Youtube videos on preparation and painting they really helped a lot.

Just a quick update
Had my radiator cleaned, pressure tested, leaks fixed and painted came up a treat.

Also had the front and back windscreen fitted last weekend. Heading off to UK in a couple of weeks for 5 weeks hopefully pick up a couple of bits and pieces while I'm there if I can drag the family out to a swap or two, might also try to track down Harris Performance and Burtons as well.

This is my equation. . 74 model has upright rear shocks and a wide auto tunnel. . 72 has 45deg incline rear shocks so not as effective, maybe had more rust .
Am i correct Macka !?

Yes 100% correct well put. And after 10 years Shane still hasn't really done much to the car. He said this is the year to finish the project, I think he wants to use my shed now I have nearly finished we will see.
