1978 GL Escort. Factory 2lt HC Auto, Raw Orange with brown interior.
 
Was planning on fitting a set of tarmac arches, slotting a new motor in and.........
 
Unfortunately, sense, (and the wife's insistance) is that I really need the cash to finish existing projects before starting a new one.
 
Car is in good nick with very minimal rust.
 
All original except for ultra electronic inition module and radio which have been replaced sometime in the 90's.
 
Would make good club plate cruiser or donor race car shell

Sorry to all those that have enquired. Things have been a bit crazy around here and the escort got moved to the corner of the shed and forgotten about. Anyway, my son is now home from hospital, and I have a couple of weeks off. So I'll dig it out, clean it up, take some pics and get a price up soon.

So I dug the car out of the back of the shed and gave it a wash! :)
 
Will be sad to see this gone as I would still love to keep it and add to the collection.
 
As mentioned, shell is in very, very good order with minimal rust. 
 
It is a factory 2lt with auto tunnel. 
 
Engine runs, although tired and could do with a service.  That said, it was registered up to April last year and was a daily driver. The car is as it left the factory mechanically, with no modifications although it has a respray somewhere along it's life and I did start to wet and dry the car to clean it up.
 
I have included lots of photos to show the condition of the shell.  if you require anymore let me know.
