Was that on the rally car Matty? I'll have to get over and have a look at yours.
And Gdub, its just got a xflow in it. It does lean a bit in the corners, but seems to handle the bumps ok.

What size sway bar? A heavier bar will compensate for the lack of spring rate.

I have 10.5" long 250lb springs in mine with a Pinto and a 22mm KMAC bar.  I have a pair of spring keepers but have never fitted them.  Yes the springs hang free when it is jacked up but who cares, they slot straight back into position when it goes back on the ground.
Are you concerned about it lifting a wheel when cornering?  This is not really an issue either as the opposite side of the car will be fully loaded when this happens so the side that is off the ground wont be anywhere near full extension due to the load on the sway bar.

Yours looks to be sitting nice there Gdub.
I have a 20mm bar on there at the moment, connected via drop links cause I'm running comp struts.

The only thing I was worried about was them falling out and not seating properly again if you hit a bit bump or bounced over a kerb or something. But your point about the bar keeping the compression on the strut makes sense too.
I'm about to put some stiffer rear springs in (currently the rear is saggy original springs with shot bushes), so figure I'll need to uprate the front ones as well to get some balance back. Would that be right?

I ran 275 fronts of 8 inches long (less weight) with an injected Pinot. 24 or 27mm swaybar Circuit only and handled very well
I'm now at 300+ 16, 18 and 20 mm swaybars depending on what works and comp struts with 200 Block Cosworth turbo. Ill see how it goes next year

I used to have a 24mm bar on this and in dry conditions was good but as soon as the track got damp it was horrible. the 22mm works much better all round and mine is a KMAC bar with adjustable castor rather than the factory 22mm bar.

Hi
As Gazz had stated get a shorter insert or have your insert stroke limited, where they open up your insert and install a collar on your shaft ontop of your piston, that limits your droop keeping the springs retained. I have a Mk 2 with 275lbs 8 in coil overs and are going through the same issue , with untrapped coil springs at suspension droop, I talked to kings springs and they put me onto accurate suspension about my situation and how to rectify.
Hope it helps.
