I hooked it all back up the other night and today I took the car for a blat up the road and back.
Looks like it didn't work too well as there oil got splashed all over the side of the engine and bay.
It looks like its coming out of the bottom of the oil separator can. When I put it back in the o-ring wasn't a tight fit. Might try a new one on there to see if that helps.
But does the system need a breather in it somewhere? I'm guessing the as the pressure gets up at revs the oil is forced out the path of least resistance. Here's how I've got it hooked up at the moment.
If you do end up tapping the hole, how do you stop the swarf from getting down into the block? And what size tap do you need? Its a fair sized hole.
