I've hit a bit of a wall with my brake fluid reservoirs. Basically, because of how high the master cylinders sit on the pedal box I am unable to get the reservoirs higher than the master cylinders while clearing the bonnet at the same time. I have the reservoirs smcka sells.
 
Basically I am just wondering what other people have done with their remote reservoir set ups. I'm thinking I may have to find a thin rectangle shaped reservoir with two outlets, just so I can get it higher up than the master cylinders.
 
If it was a race car it would be easy, just put them on the dash haha. Unfortunately it's not.

I use 'smcka' reservoirs and they fit easy in the usuall spot next to the rh bonnet hinge, and high enough to be higher than the masters.
what sort of pedal box are you using?

Mount a remote resevoir in the same place as the Lotus Escort, over the firewall next to the heater bubble.

It's a Motorsport-Tools pedal box with Wilwood masters.
The shop making up all my hoses just contacted me yesterday and were a little concerned that they might not flow very well. They've put them where everybody else does, beside the RH bonnet hinge, but thought they might not be high enough there.
I know most people use the same reservoirs I have so I figured it was definitely worth asking the question here!
If people can confirm they've got no problems with fluid flow to the master cylinders then I will just stick with the reservoirs I already have.

Ford works cars have had reservoirs mounted in the same location for over thirty years so I don't think you will have a problem.

When mounted by the hinge, the lowest part of the reservoir is higher than the master so no problems at all.

i thought that mine where a touch low also and may cause an issue, but none to be had, the biggest issue you may have is the initial bleed, but a vacc bleed though will fix that. once that is sorted itll be smooth sailing.
