Nice.  Which caliper did you go for and with what size discs?

I already had a new set of vented cross drill 247 x 20mm rotors, so ordered of smcka some billet hi spec calipers.

I'll be interested to hear how they compare to the standard M16s, as I've been considering doing the same.

I thought i would give a run down on installation of hi-spec calipers (m16 billet) and 247mm x 20m rotors.
escort rs2000 mk2 struts.
I got told i would have to machine the hub about 3mm.

I have worked out 4mm , and a spacer between the caliper mount.
this gave me 2.5mm on each side of the caliper to rotor.
lets hope its right will be machining this week and assembly on the week end.

we fitted to Kierans MK2, Hi spec 4 pot calipers stright on to 2.8 injection billys with 2.8 hubs and std 2.8 disc. bolted stright up no problem, no spacers, runs an Alfa/Lotus/ prancing horse pad.
stops much better than the VB/VL donnydoor calipers on my MK1.
