Thought it might be, i'm currently putting one in my mk2, can't wait to see some engine bay pictures of yours

Firstly, not a lover of mk1s but thats a very nice car, credit to you. 
The only FE-D version we got in aus is early Kia Sportage.
I personally played with a few Mazda F engines. Had a FE with a pair of sidedroughts,cam etc etc and F2T with a few mods , had bigger plans for it but sold the car.
I am keen to see more pics of you mk1 and mostly the 700+hp @1.6bar dyno sheet.not much boost for the hp, What turbo are you running?Any nos on board?

Thanks, Played with a few of them, the 2.0L is much superior than the BP, cyl/head has more flow and houses a forged steel crank. Check out Louis Lema in South Africa on You tube-think he has done a best of 7sec 1/4mile.
 On the Std 2L 16v easy 200kw, piston and rod change looking at 350kw, I have done a 2.2L Mod which got me to the 533Kw mark.
There are guys here that push 700+ Kw with a 2.2L but that is insane, personally I won't be cranking her up to 1.6 on the tar.
 

I have two Turbo's which i use for different applications,just change them and load appropriate map.
Not a fan of Nos-pain in the **s to refill and when depleted you not making the power you suppose to, I try to maximise my build on the most HP then run them on 75% of that, and never had any reliability problems by doing so thus far
