I'm interested about your C pillar repair, looks like your skipping the vent pain in the butt totally.
Is there any problem in doing this, I couldn't find much on the net from others who had done so, and I was going to do the same thing as well.
 
I'm sure it does something with the ventilation/air flow (maybe helping boot space vent), but haven't found a good reason for keeping it....

Hey fellas. Theres probably a real good reason for it being there apart from casuing a expensive rust repair. Im sure a more technical person on here could answer that for you but i honestly couldnt give a **** no disrespect to anyones opinion. I just dont want it to rust again.

From memory you're on the right path in regards to ventilation but i think its to do with the pressure caused when shutting the door with the windows up. I could be wrong and there may be another reason also.

Exactly. That's it in a nutshell for me too.
Ok will you do the other side the same.
 
You can soon fix the garnish trim on with some Sika or tape, even paint a false blackout and no one will know.

Yeh both sides have had the c pillar, wheel tub and outer gaurd repaired.

Yep the garnish trim can just go on with sika but ill decide that after its painted.

I wondered if you still had it.
 
I've switched to E85 for the new build as well.  Gets costly redoing the entire fuel system to PTFE.
 
I'll have to post some updates as there are a lot of new parts waiting to be assembled.

I used high pressure Gates Barricade E85 rated fuel hose. It wasn't too expensive, but cost about triple the price of low pressure return hose

one more question, the rear arch repair panels look flared to me? or are they std?
I need some also, but didn't think there were many options for 4 door arches because of the rear doors?
 
If so, can you let me know what you used and where from?

No probs Deano ask as many questions as you want. The outer gaurds are Standard replacement and i bought them from a shop in the Uk called GRP4fabtications http://www.grp4fabrications.com
I would advice you do a bulk order from them as shipping can get expensive.
