hi everyone,im pretty new to this site and cant tell you how handy it is. i have 3 mk2 Escorts and am looking to do my first engine conversion...and have a plan of "twin cam, twin carbs".

after doing alot of research it think a mx5 b6 on twin 40mm dellortos (i already have the carbs) would be my cheapest and best option as i have found one close to me for $650 inc 5 speed box with 100,000klms on it. seems like a good price to me....
so my question is apart from the coil pack, alternator, starter motor,
what else should i grab with it? as it is in the car still and i can get as mny extra parts as i need.
i am not a mechanic and just want to get everything that will be usefull in one hit. any info would be great.

Grab anything and anything you can get if the seller is offering. There is nothing worse than realising later on you 'should've grabbed that bit'..... The other thing is, even if you dont want it, or have no use for it, you can always offload it on ebay to offset some of the costs...
