Have you got your gaurds rolled? Try that first, second remove the big satelite dishes from your boot to save some weight (this will also help speed your car up)

Otherwise go for some stiffer rear springs, dont expect much improvement if you pull some 28yr old springs out of an RS2000 because they'd be fairly well rooted if theyre original, well will be in the respect that your hoping to stiffen rear up enough not to scrape with people in it.

King springs can sell you a new set of rear springs, or pedders or someone, but if you get it extremely stiff just to stop it scraping with people in, then when your driving by yourself it will skate all over the road. Putting bigger rims on and lower is going to cause some scraping in any event unless your wheels are perfectly designed with correct offset for your car.

Mine scrapes now and then over decent bumps if I have back loaded up, but to get around this I chose not to load the back up- I didn't build the car to cart people around but I know that if I have to its not going to kill my tyres and will only scrape a little.

So I guess what Im saying is theres always going to be a compromise....

Well im not going to be carting people around anymore lol i was actually affraid of rolling the guards due to paint chipping or what not, anywhere professional that could do it? id love them rolled and as for the bigger rims im just goign to keep the 15" Performance rims and slam it. Pedders is doing my lowering and i think i may do some springs, and how do you mean rolling around like a skateboard? i dont wanna get speed wobbles n die man! id like somthing that wasn't so floppy in the back. The guy rekons 4" at the rear and im worried that if i go that low im going to F*&k my tired asap so i want to prevent it.

The noise is awsome...from what i had to these 45's.. the sound is sooo soo different, from the mechanic to home they were tuned nice and running well without popping and what not, but the next day thats when they started to be a pain... i'll fix that up and it should be ok, other then that they are going good guns, Raced a VL Commodore smashed it from start to finish, i think im going to need a better cam though... when i take off they are slow to get going but higher revs its awsome... ive had some recommendations like Kent FR32 anyone recommend any others?

Seems to be an ad in FOR SALE for a bloke selling some cams.

http://classic-ford.org/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=12360

Stage 4 would breathe heaps better than the stock one you have.

Listen to the man!!!
A stage 4 Heatseeker would give you a nice little kick.
Mine made 74kw with that cam, some head work and those webers
