Looking to buy a type 9 shift lever and the mounting assembly, preferably quick shift, but a standard for cheap will do. For conversion on a MK2 escort.
Need to be able to post it to Queanbeyan next door to Canberra.

Dont know how he does them so cheap, I got stuff from him before, good quality and fast postage. was thinking of getting one just for spare, at that price.

I'll have to reduce my pricing. Darn pound to dollar ratio.... keeps getting better and better and I paid for mine 6 months ago.

I got mine a couple of years ago.  Have now sold he car, but still got the shifter.
 
Is a rose jointed one (they do vibrate on a street car and can drive you a little nuts over time if your car is otherwise quiet) that I fitted a rubber boot onto and filled with grease to make it durable for the road.  I can post to ACT for $90 if you would like. By the time I got the shifter and boot it cost me about $120.  Only ever fitted to the car for less than 100km....

Sorry have ordered the one from ebay, seemed a good deal, and I found a guide on stopping the vibration and noise of a rose jointed shifter by tapping 3 holes in the mounting block and using some bolts, dont quite remember how it went but I could get the link when I get home.
If the UK one ordered is no good Ill get back.

The UK one is most likely very similar (looks to be the same design - just hope for you it is not a cheap copy).. It is the rose joint that makes the vibration - so the design as similar will most likely vibrate.... (Have heard other peoples tales on how to stop them vibrating, but have not heard of any success stories, so I would be interested to see what you are doing an if it actually works in the real world...)
