Hi there. Chasing two things please:
1. Anybody know a good instrument fitter in Canberra that can recondition a fuel sender for a MK1 Escort?
2. Anybody know somebody in Canberra that can recondition a brake booster for a MK1 escort.

Many thanks in advance.

Apparently Australian Brake Sleeving in Queanbeyan (which I think is now called Brakeworx) rebuilds boosters, although not sure how good they are as I hadn't got there since they were recommended to me.

I'm not sure the fuel senders can be rebuilt.

Good luck
Jamie

Be aware that some boosters are a throw away item as they cannot be pulled apart.  To identify if you have a servicable one is a little hard to explain but have a look at it from the brake pedal end, the flat plate that sits inside the "dome shaped outer cover" which the master cylinder attaches too, sould have some small u shaped type cutouts so that if you turned that plate within the cover the cutots will line up with the locking tabs on the domed cover and allow it to come apart.  I hope that makes sense, you may need to get the booster out to have a look.  In hindsight I should have taken a photo of mine before I put it back together to help identify one.

Cheers
