Thanks to 900dukess for prompting me to double-check: Burtons had 2 new Exhaust Valves with 37mm heads x 114.5mm long x 8.67mm stem dia (-0/+up to 0.35mm).................now I need 4 more, if any of you out there accidentally purchased Valves as above and then realised they were wrong for your V6; here's your chance to help both of us !.............it'd be sad to re-assemble heads with 2 new and 4 old Ex Valves.......can't bring myself to do it!
The sooner I get 4 more Valves, the sooner "Wild Plum's" back on the road!

2 new Tranco exhaust valves to fit Ford V4 Essex engines with +.8mm (0.030") oversized stems - ideal for worn guides. Fitted to:

Thanks for your help everyone..........thanks to you guys, finally found all new Valves after much digging: early small ones were common, but only 1 or 2 people had the larger valves as fitted to my Up-rated CK17ME engine..........found some adjustable Reamers and Seat Cutters in Dad's Tool Chest, so now can't wait for the Valves to arrive from UK......... Must get stuck into pulling Engine and gearbox down for "clean-up".

THERE'S NOT MANY NEW CONSUMABLES I DON'T HAVE THAT YOU CAN HAVE IN EXCHANGE FOR THIS CAPRI MK1 GT V6 CLUTCH KIT I NEED.................
ALSO NEED FOR THIS GTV6 CAPRI..................engine mounts at F &/or rear clutch cable, boot lid, F O R D letters for boot, hockey sticks for boot lid, carby repair kit for DFAV Weber, wet choke Cover, correct wheels, original B&W seat covers or complete seats, door cards, dash electrical switches, crash pad, steering rack, HEATED REAR SCREEN, little oval ford badge for "thresh-hold", heater core,  etc

Noble park brake and clutch or BGT Dandenong re line the plate and put new diaphragm in the pressure plate, should only be a few days turn around, have to be cheaper and easier

Yay!..........finally finished rebuilding the 4 speed man gearbox after making all the gaskets inc the one I always find missing between bell Housing and Box.
Still lapping in all 12 valves. Next job; replace all seals and gaskets on V6 Engine after "fishing out" one pushrod from the sump, that decided it wanted to be a "sub-marine" during head removal!
