I checked my fuel economy for the last tank of juice and it worked out to 16.3 mpg. Eek!
It will take nearly a tankful to get there and back. I hope you guys with the big carbies will be ok.

Ok clutch is totally stuffed. I ended up using 
Under half a tank. Which is awesome considering with 3.44 she sits on 3500rpm on highway .Would do it again?? Not me .I can tick that off list now.will post pics . Ron if UV want to start a new thread in shroom , so it doesn't get lost in general.

What a day! People everywhere, cars as far as the eye can see and a definite buzz in the capri camp.
Nineteen club capris and another four counted nearby. The quality of cars this year was fantastic. Anthony was there with blaze blue for the first time and it was truly magnificent, a fantastic effort by father and son team, you guys have done good.  I have heaps of pics which I will put up soon as I chill a bit.
Trophies.
1st   Blaze blue by anthony and dad.      (A clear winner on the day)
 
2nd  Red pepper       ron and son jon.                  ( not bad considering the quality of the cars )
 
3rd   Yellow fire      anthony and dad.       (hey thats double dipping)

No surprises there Ron.well done to yourself and Anthony. 

The club went into a huddle with pres anthony starting proceedings then three long standing members gave speeches then cut the cake.

Robyn getting a hug for her hard work in the club and of course there are others that werent mentioned but are very well appreciated too.
