The Mk II Escort steering column grommet that Burton sells looks nothing like the one on my car (I've attached photos of each below).  Any idea why, and more importantly, will the Burton one replace mine correctly?

P.S.  Questions have occasionally been asked in the past about the availability of replacement accelerator cable grommets etc., but nobody has been aware of a reliable source.  If that has changed, please do chime in.

I am concentrating in the precision replication of many of the Escort and other old car parts currently not available, or difficult to find.
There is a lot of interest especially in the rubber and hard plastic components and wear items.
 
I have avoided manufacturing the Mk2 Escort steering grommets as they are already available from other sources.
However if the other sources a not supplying the exact component required maybe somone should let me know.
 
Start firing away if you need anything!
 
I am always looking for more components for consideration to manufacture and make available!
