Ok Capri experts, I need some info.
Can someone please tell what the inner and outer bearing diameters are on the two front wheel bearings.
As I understand there may be a smaller and larger axle thickness.

Thanks in advance.

There is.  The UK delivered V6 cars had a hub and disk like a TC Cortina, these run different size bearings to the usual Aust Mk1 struts

My mate has a 3.0 mk2 Capri and the struts are not as the regular Capri/RS(uk)/twincam strut. .. The hubs are very similar to mk3/4/5 Cortina hubs , tho we've never pulled them apart to check brg sizes.
Give CBC bearings a call for sizes as I have never came across different Capri brgs sizes and I've owned plenty of struts over the yrs

So would this particular axle be large or small?
The MkII Escort RS axle seems to be 1mm smaller in diameter.

Do you think I would be able to find bearings that would fit the Escort hub onto this axle?

Looks to be a standard Capri / twin cam stub axle and you may need to purchase a Capri hub or a set of alloy hubs from the UK to suit. I have a pair of adjustable height standard 2.0L escort struts if you're not wanting an easy option 😉
