I just bought a weber 32/36 carb,it has a electric choke how do i hook that up so it works.Can i put it to the temp sender or do i have to put a switch in and turn it on/off manually

it is generraly run by roughly 8v supply from the back of the alternator(not all alternators have this special connector). Otherwise you can run 12v ignition supply but it may heat up the bimetal strip too quick and make the choke come off too early and cause some stalling issues at idle during warm up period. If that is a problem run an apropriate inline resistor to reduce voltage to around 8v......

Oh and you dont need any on/off switches, you want it powered whenever engine is running.
