hey guys last bit needed for my new front end setup, 
 
was wondering if anyone knows a part number for a readily available brand, that can be bought from a store in australia. ie roadsafe ect.
or are they only available from escort parts suppliers ie smcka, burtons ect

I tried through a local supplier, but no luck. SMCKA's price is quite reasonable.

Nah Matt, those are the std capri outer tie rods, they also suit a mk1 escort with fine thread rack ends.
 
im after a outer tie rod that has course mk2 thread and a imperial capri taper to go into the steering arm

Mish, I did a similar exercise a few years back...they are only carried by specialists in Australia. Smcka has them on the shelf, Im pretty sure he carries both genuine ford and aftermarket. Alternatively its ebay or a UK supplier.
