Ican renew your switches for $30 each

What does renewing do? all the switches work and I have a spare light switch in a box.
Whooligan it has taken me a bit by surprise and I feel a bit conflicted. I had intended on making changes to increase performance anticipating that changes had already been made. I have the original service booklet and owners manual and even a receipt from 1980 when the extractors were fitted.

I re-chrome the backs, clean and re-dye the rockers, fit new symbols, clean the insides.  Your vents I rechrome the knob, re-paint the cases and re-do the silver ring. 

Good to know. It will be a long time before I worry abt them, but having a local option is good.

Service bill shows that a one piece tail shaft was fitted in 1980...was this common?

Yes the tailshaft was non serviceable in its day
