I am getting into a few track days in the near future and with pressure from the family, as well as it being a good idea, I am looking at getting a roll cage.
 
Does anyone have one surplus to requirements specifically to fit a MKII 4 door but beggars can't be choosers?
 
I thought I check on hear first before shelling out the bucks for a Bond or Brown Davis Bolt in one or even a custom one.
 
Has anyone fitted a bolt in job to a 4 door before and are the 2 door cages the same as the 4 door ones?

You will find pretty much any Escort bolt in cage will fit whether it was 2 or 4 door. My old steel cage from the green MK2 2 door was orinially in a 4 door and is now in PMR's 2 door.
You will strugle to find a cage builder these days that is interested in making a bolt in cage and if they will, it will cost you more than a welded cage.
 
Make some phone calls and see what they say, try Brown Davis, Fabrications, or AUS4WD as they are all in Melbourne and on our side of the city.
