i have a mk1 capri 1600 and last trackday the gearlever decided to break in 2...
and the rubber has perished in my 'emergency' spare so its also now in 2 pieces
The thread is smaller in the capri housing than the escorts, so can anyone help with where to get a replacement gearlever (prefer a quickshift) for the Capri??
 
 

if you cant source one locally give capri clinic a call. Kevin will have one and I think he does rebuild kits for them too
 

Gear lever is the same as what's in later Mk2 Cortina's, hard to get good ones, don't know of any quick shift at this time.

The gear sticks come in a few sizes, look at  the colour of the plastic and make sure you get the same colour, IIR there are white green and blue
