Wow that's a lot of work in a relatively short period of time Bruce and a great result. You sure have some skills there mate.
Here is a link to your old thread which still has some pictures but lost a lot of the text. I have enjoyed following your build along the way, what's next?

Bruce, I was looking over the old thread (thanks Blue!), can I just ask about fitting the rear arches?

In one early photo, it looked like you made a return flange on the body, but another it looks more like the arch was butt welded flush.?

Gartrack's website also have photos of them spotwelded with the bubbles behind the body, and spotwelded through, which looks to be another way of doing it.

I like the spotweld idea,as it seams easier, but doing a series of tacks  would 'seal' the two edges.. ?

Thanks guys
Deano they are butt welded .
Ive done them before with spot welding the flare behind the original panel and it made blending more difficult and they are more prone to flexing and cracking the filler .
I prefer to butt weld every 20mm but doing one weld one one side then moving to the other side for the next then stopping every couple of welds to spray the panel with cool water .
The aim is to avoid warping and have the 2 panels sat as flush as possible reducing the amount of blending/ filler required .
You can buy the inner wheel arch extensions from magnum but i made my own , make sure these are fitted and all welded in place as they help to keep things rigid and straight .
However you fit  the rear arches they are a total pain to blend if you intend to prep yourself , i spent maybe 2 weeks getting them perfect so if that time was in a bodyshop i dread to think what it would cost unless im just slow....

thanks Bruce, that all makes alot of sense.
Im hanging out to do the arches, its just a bucket list kind of thing.
(That and also filling in panelvan windows cutouts, nothing like diving in an having a go practicing your welding).

So what are your plans now?
This beast was done with the intention to be sold from memory?

Guys,
Finally got Crapi and Escort engineered, blue slipped and behold 'registered'.
'All good things come to those who wait' I think is the best way to put it.
Looking at Bruce's MK1 makes me feel a little bit underdone but anyhow a lot of pain behind me especially for the Escort (never long stud a Cossie!) and a big thanks to John McCallum for the help with getting the Capri powered.
Bruce you must be just up the road from me? as I'm down Nowra way.
A few misc pics attached.
