What kinda project would make you sell a gem like this?

Next one is a genuine type 49 mexico with proven provenance and a good rally history from the UK. 
This may not float everyones boat but Ive always been a rally fanatic , the history with this new one does it for me. 
Ill be keeping this one for myself but still intend to make these replicas which funnily enough are much more pristine then the real thing. 
I just enjoy making them . 

So ive bitten the bullet . 
Shell is now off to paint at a bodyshop .
I am so nervous they will not produce what i want or the quality wont be right. 
off to find a corner to rock in .

Had a box of bits arrive today and chomping at the bit to get them fitted.

I am also new to Aus, left Scotland last year and not looked back. Picked up a Mk1 last week and just begun working on it.

My heritage is Scottish ( Grandparents ) maybe why im so tight !! then they moved to the north east. 
Glad your not looking back , I've lived all over the world with my line of business and there is  nowhere like Australia , Life is easy here . 

Little update , 
World cup subframe arrived from manufactures so headed to bodyshop to fit to check it .
Had already fitted the quickrack I rebuilt . 
Still havent decided if ill fit the electric power steering or stick to the old school .  
Ive built an uprated roll bar mount  in 1 peice instead of the 2 feeble brackets and used double width brackets x 3 . 
Im happy with how tight this all feels

So another set back. 
I visited the bodyshop today for an update as they were not answering my calls to find no one there .
Several calls around i eventually got to speak to the owner .
He has sold the business .. bloody brilliant !!!  what is wrong with these people --
Just got home after having the scort recovered from the empty shed. 
Next house I build will have enough room for a booth , I hate relying on people to do things for me but in the mean time .....
Can someone please recommend a decent honest body shop within a couple of hours of wollongong. 
Shell is as new in primer , requires no body work and i just need someone to shoot the color and laquer in a decent booth.
