My standard Ford escort 7 fuse box looks like it's had a couple of the fuses (8A) get a bit hot in the past at some stage.
As they are the old type, i'm not putting much faith in the unit as a whole, and would like to update to a new aftermarket that uses blade fuses.

Has anyone done this already, and if so, what did you replace it with?
I'm not expecting to find something that has similar plug pin spacing, but if it did that would be a bonus.

Funny they are all rated at 8A.
thanks

That's a neat looking unit, lots of different types on the market. Most good catalogues-narva, Hella, OEX  etc usually show dimensions, might help if you want to mount it in the standard location. I got my sparky to wire in an additional fuse box to provide accessory, ignition feeds for gauges, stereo etc. Len
