Hi Guys,
 
So im now at the stage where im getting the brakes / brake booster reinstalled in the car, and what I am unsure about is wether or not there is a grommet or anything in the firewall where the brake pedal rod goes trough, or if it is just an open hole?.
 
I cant remember taking a grommet or anything out when I removed it, but it seems odd to me that it would just be n open hole with the rod passing through?.
 
Any info or photos would be greatly appreciated.

Here is the grommet that came from my MK2 
 
Part of the bellows has ripped / deteriorated but it's yours if you want it. 
 
Should still do the job.

Can buy brand new ones from Peter lynton google him there about 12 bucks from memory

have bought a few things from Peter Lytton before, but I don't think he does these does he?

Yeh I brought one off him not LNG ago for myrs

thanks Matt. I ended up finding another rod in the garage that still had (albeit pretty crummy) a gromet on it so will use that one.
 
Perhaps i might even email peter to see if he has one before i reinstall the brakes etc.
