I have had both Yokohama 352s and Falken ZIEX ZE912 in 205/60 on a 13x7 rim and in my opinion the Falken are a better tyre. The Yokohamas are softer with treadwear 200 and Falken 360 but the Falkens seem to hold on better, a lot better in the rain also. The Yokohamas didn't last long either.
I was going to use the Yokohama A539 185/60 but no tyre shop here in Adelaide said they could get them. They all said they may not be stamped ADR approved so I didn't want to take a gamble. To those using this tyre, has it got any markings on it about meeting Australian standards? If it does I would get them.
Last tyre change I decided to try the ZE912 in a 185/60 on the front and although they are harder than the 205 they still give a fair bit of grip. Still not as good as the 205 though.
The bloke at the tyre shop said there isn't any other 13 inch road tyre (185 or 205) that would be as good so that's why I keep buying them.
