Hi all a long time ago a mate of mine had the optional Ford twin weber set up for his MK2 Cortina GT.  It had cast alloy right angle extensions so the air filters sat horizontal not vertical.  I have found an alloy right angle part which could be one of these.  Does anyone have a photo or is looking for one to pair up to their odd one??

 
It was, apparently, an option kit from Ford. 
Have heard of these several times over the years and that it was a factory option. 
Not sure what manifold was used or how they did the throttle linkages.
Have never seen any and would be interested to see what they looked like.
Would also like to see pictures.

Ahh I think you might be onto something, the aircleaner on mine is a nifty retro warnerford oval one
