I've just entered the rallysprint for 24th Jan and note that there are 3 other Escorts and a Perahna entered. Also a GT40 (replica) from the other side of the pond representing the classic blue oval. http://www.rallysprint.com.au/
 
If you are on this side of the desert, come down and have a look (or even better, enter :) ).
 
Entry for spectators is free. Scrutineering at 5PM and racing is from around 6PM from memory until about 9PM. Location is Kwinana Motorplex.

Rolly said he'll be taking his 2.3 down. Should be an eye opener if he does!

I've never been down there; does it make good spectator viewing?

I will be down to spectate.
I have been meaning to come and check these out. Wouldnt mind having a go after getting a bit more experiance in the cossie!

Spectating is pretty good up on the bridge that crosses the drag strip, on the spectatctor stands down the side of the drag strip and in the pit area for the start and finish lines.
 
And of course you can walk through the pits and get a close up of all the cars - no barriers there.
 
And yes Rolly's machine sounds awesome - that will be something to listen to.
