Yes they were moved back around 2 to 3 inches roughly.I welded in new rhs rails and welded tabs to them to bolt the seats to.Am using the standard seatbelts in original mounting positions.

As for the rear seat i can leave it in there as there is still leg room.But as my car is only built for burnouts drag and other car events i only fitted the 2 front seats.

I have a 300 hp all alloy v6 ford that will do the job nicley and only weighs 136 kgs

Here's a 5L alloy block V8 crate engine. You could have this landed for about 9-10K. If you ran all the 2010 Mustang emissions gear with it you could probably get it on the road (depending of course on the engineer who'd have to sign it off)
