Brett
We started on the roll cage.
Plan is to finish it this weekend.

Dropped down to weld around tops.

Final position, gaps look good for a kit cage.

They did say they will discount a new one for me, but the postage cost more than the TCA.

Hi Brett

A bit late but maybe you can get them to send you 2 of the oposite to make a pair and flog the other set off

GREAT STUFF!

The cage is coming along nicely.
My mate Craig is helping me out heaps with this build, he is a master on the welder.

The cage came from Rod Andrews Race Cars. Highly recommended

Twin 11" Spal thermo fans.

have you thought about an aftermarket ECU? im going for a PowerFC D-Jetro with my car, because it deletes the AFM, which will make my filter to turbo pipe work much easier. and also neater.

Great idea. Thats what I ended up doing, ordered a few other parts aswell, which helped soften the blow of postage costs.

The plan is to get the car going with a nistune.
Changing ecu now is a good idea, as finding a spot for the bigger AFM is difficult in the smaller escort engine bay. [?]
