hi guys

ive got myself a 1/18 scale medla diecast 2 door for $50 im going to strip it down etc and rebuild it and paint it as a replica of my dads rally car and while im at it i want to get a 1/18 scale 4 door and make a replica of my car to! but everywhere ive looked i can only find 2 door model mk2's.. does anyone know where/if there is aa 4 door metal die cast model out there??

I picked up an orange 1600 Sport(2dr) for $65 at a hobby store, ie..R/C cars, planes etc. the 1/18 Escorts range do not come in 4dr because in Europe the only 4dr was a Ghia or Pov pack!!

Most are Euro based with steering wheel on the left, vinyl roof coupes, chrome/black squareside mirrors, ect.

cool were do people get these models, can we post a few mods as well

Some of these are listed on E bay at the minute , from the search I have done they come in 2 door only , Red round lights, White round lights, Silver Ghia Square lights and Gold Ghia Square lights , one brand available is Sunstar models , they had a full range of 1 18 rally cars also but all have been long sold out
