Nice spud , can I ask how much and where from did you get those awsome brakes.Im thinking going the volvo 4 pot with tx3 rotors.

Hi hotboost - the hubs/rotors are from UPC in Bayswater Melbourne - @$500 the set. The calipers were $840 each ($1680 / pair) + $220 for a set of pads. Then u have to make a mount for the calipers - but that is very simple given that they r radial mounts. (I was going to use wilwoods but apparently vicroads wont allow them to get thru engineering - issues with the way the brake line fixes to the caliper) I did it this way b/c i want it to be up to engineering, look good and give the car good stopping power. It was expensive but i really want a nice capri in the end. The present paintwork was just to get it roadworthy etc, now im going to demolish it! Wheels, brakes, suspension 1st, then the engine, then the body work.

I thought this project had nearly finished. How wrong can you be? If I hadnt left small fords and went over to motorbikes for 30 years I imagine this is about what I would be doing - modifying the capri for better performance. Great work Stefan.
