Damn it Whools I'll have to ask for the piston ring I bought her back. She is a bit of a wreck about the issue at the moment and as long as we stay together we might be able to save the relationship piece by piece.

hi wiggy - re grafting the A pillar in - (with love of course - marriage) - the only nasty cut I made was thru the a pillar next to the screen - the rest is largely offering new panels up to existing (after you've prepped them nice). Just measure carefully - I must have got it right they are all cuddling and copulating together very happily. Im repairing the a pillars on mine this weekend but these are just a partial re-skin.
You know the guard thingo - they do come up for sale - u have to keep an eye out - I scored 2 in Jan this year - $150 and $90 (and a lovely apron - no bog etc - $180 - annnd a NOS 1/4 panel for $750 -  it happens

The problem with this blue one is I need to do the outside drivers sill as well as A pillar and the roof. That will take out major support until it's fixed so firstly will need to be braced. Then I suppose I start with the sill followed by Apillar t

Then start with the roof. Not easy for a novice but slow and steady should produce a good job. I am waiting to get the sill then when time permits I will start.

Straightening the guards on the brown one will be a bit hard but I bet there is no rust in them. Someone flared them and not very well, also it's had accident damage on the left which might have stuffed the bonnet took out the stone tray but hasn't touched the slam panel or affected the chassis and engine bay. The left guard though needs more straightening but spoke to a good panel beater today and he is happy to do it and straighten the rest of the body.
