That is a good use of a greenhouse
Painted over the kbs in my boot and all seems to be fine, I mainly used it on the underside, floors, doors, nooks and crannies. It's self levelling so you can brush it on with great results. Not sure whether its sandable, being polyurethane it may 'burr' up....

I'm liking it all. The worst would be after all the effort getting there and do 50 to 90% of the job and it comes back again. Spud can you take a better pic of your said holes I sure I know where you mean but but to be sure. I love the green house storage workshop area but I would burn it down with grinding and welding sparks taking out all my cars in one go and I'm working on a burnt one which is not easy hardest one I've got but the rest of the body is imaculate. Still don't know about brushing it on though as no gloves required with a gun and going to work with it all over me and jumping In bed at the end of the day stopped a few years ago for me. Cheers guys

And Drewdog how does it self level upside down. Oh I know as it spreads over your lips after you apply it. Might need to go to Revlon and other make up suppliers for that. If I could convince the wife to do it and come out with beautiful lipstick by the end that would be a gold moment. Keith

u can never have enough Capri guards  - most of the ones I have  - have had the usual rust issues - I repair them and collect them. The two I have for this orange one - here's a part pic of the passengers one:

I had it and the drivers one sand blasted the other day. Ive already repaired the drivers. Took me close to a day welding/shrinking etc - but its worth it.
There has been some talk of getting new ones made but the truth of the matter is that people wont pay what they would be worth - a NOS one on ebay UK wasn't sold for AUD$900 recently - a NOS guard is easily worth that but...... (if u go to the trouble to get new ones made u would have to get way more than that per guard)
I put clear coat on the orange one this arvo  - looks so glassy ...... love 2 pak!

the location of the spot welds is arbitrary Wiggy. I used a large C  thingo - one end point of the C i touched on the spot weld - the other end of the C shows u the corresponding internal location of the spot (if u get my drift) - I mark it and drill

I've got the one off the burnt car. I tried sanding and flap disking the burnt rust and nothing really happened. I have an eBay sand blaster and it removed the rusty burnt sections a treat. I think we could start making more repair sections for them though. You can get the bottom section at A pillar but other sections should be available.

I've sand blasted the other side panel you bought and here is what it's come up like. Pretty good for 2.5 hrs with the sand blaster I reckon.

Spud I need to marry this A pillar section with the roof to bring this one back. It's the hardest one I've got to fix but I am loving the challenge.
