Is there any of these in south east victoria/gippsland?

reason i ask is, i've sent 2 4 door mk2's to the wreckers and a 2 door mk1. the first 4 door i sent there still had the 3.54 diff brand new tyres 3 perfect doors virtually no rust, couldn't even sell it on flea bay for $200 so it went the the wreckers.

Driving past another yard i noticed a pretty neat 2 door corolla sitting at the front that caught my eye, so i stopped and had a peak and asked if there was any Escorts, the bloke was kind enough to let me look and i noticed a 2 door cortina, lots of other cortinas from 4cyl to 6 cyl, 2 esky panel vans (one had significant rust and the roof was fair nackered, so fair enough), and an rs2000! i said you should put them on ebay and you'd some good money, but he said 'm not interested in that, i'm just told to squash them and put them on the truck!!!

I could't believe all the other old falcons, cryslers and other cars under the moss and weeds, waiting in line for the crusher!

i don't know the address as such, its near the hill climb track down here if that helps? its just like a holding yard/paddock where a couple guys come a few times a week and crush/load the cars on the truck, and send to the Melbourne, i wanted the gearbox out of one of the Escorts but they weren't interested as they get more money if there is more weight in the cars, although they said the would give me an axe and i could cut the heater bubble out but i'd have to pay for it :S i know the corolla and a couple Escorts will be gone by now as they were at the front waiting for the truck, but the cortina's may be still there as they more to the back. dunno if they will let you in, they were half pissed when i stopped. There is a massive sign saying no trespassing, tresspasers will be shot! :S it was just by chance when i was driving past they were at the gate.

I'll go for a drive past tomorrow and see if they are there and try and get some photos, save anyone a drive if your not from around here. and i'll see if i can see what the road is.

okie dokie, went for a dive past there today, i could only see a few cortina's and an exy panel van, but they blokes were not very friendly at all, they told me to bugger off (to keep it clean) saying i seen you here last week, we don't like when people hang around, we have los too much stuff over the years blah blah, maybe its cause they were drunk last time they were more friendly, anyways its on the top of haunted hills road right next door to the tip/cemetary, can't miss it as there is poo poo everywhere. i drove past a bit later to try and get some pics but they were still there, and had two trucks which they were loading with cars.

what gearbox are you after? 4spd?

i've already got a 4sp thanks, but i thought if i could get this one for cheap, would be good for a spare, but they were fools about it

yeah they are more interested in the more weight the more money they get. when i went past today, a car got loaded un crushed, so i dunno if they just stack on top of each other or if they send some whole to melb not too sure. the first time the were nice, but not so much today.
