Im chasing a new / second hand (working either way) heater core. Anyone have one that they want to unload?.

Hi There   I have a mk2 escort which I am recycling parts so if your interested in the heater core then let me know an I will pull it out or any other parts.

hi jim. I have a few options up my sleeve, but it seems to be a consumable part, so certainly interested in getting another as a spare.
 
Can you let me know how much you would want for the heater core (assuming it is not leaking?), and how much to post from you to me?. 3136.

Year ago I had the heater core reco'd and only cost $100 or so.
 
Any radiator joint should be able to do it.
 
You investogate this option before buying a 2nd one and potentially being in the same boat in the future.

thanks for all the replies guys. I ended up biting the bullet and buying a new one from the UK. I expect it shoudl arrive in a few days time.

I had a few emails with the guy back and forth and he assures me he has been using this size in MK2 escorts for a long time wiht no problems.
 
The Dimensions also marry up to within a few MM of the one i pulled out of my car.
 
Postage was 30 pounds.
 
Will report back on how it fits and works.
