hey all
 
was allmost ready to send car for paint when i decided to look over the only panel i havent touch the valance panel
 
checking those prices of repop ones seem to be a bit over the top for my budjet atm
so im thinking of replacing the front valance panel with a fibre glass one
 
my question is for anybody who has used glass ones on how they fit i know my car has had previous front end damage and thats my major concern is fitment
 
my only other option is to repair the steel one and then bog it ...  seen a few seconhand ones but they need just as much work  on them and still will need heaps of bog ...
fibreglass one if fits and at 250 new seemed to be a better option for now as will require less bog in it
 
if anybody has tried one id like to hear how it fitted up

The one used did fit well - u have t work out how t secure the grill and slam panel

do any of you gents here know if a T5 out of an XF Falcon 6cyl is the same T5 as ur talking about here and can I use it for my GT V6 1972 ? ..............What Bell Housing cum Conversion kit is needed ? ............Is there a hydraulic Conversion available ?
(I hate cable Clutch with a passion; nothing beats hydraulic IMHO)

I fitted the master cyl as per this pic - clears everything. Used a remote reservoir

Only Dellow sell them - used an xf t5, xf clutch plate, Capri pressure plate. U have to use a right angle drive fr the speedo cable - to clear the tunnel - ringwood speedometer.

I have some pics of the conversion I did somewhere - I'll put them up
