Has anyone got a pair of sunvisors, in reasonable condition they want to sell. Colour not so important as I will paint them if they are not white. dont need the pins just the visors. 1970 mk1 V6.
 

If you have some old ones, you an rebuild them using 2 layers of 6mm foam glued together, and some headlining material.  I sewed the new covers leaving the hinge seam open, then hand stitched them closed.  Looks pretty good IMHO.
The visors have an internal plastic clamp at each end on the mounting pieces (iirc) to provide resistance when you pull them down. The hinge end of these plastic bits tends to split.

not sure if there all the same type visor's  mine are 72 model ones and run right across to the centre ..i dont have a roof mounted mirror i  have a window glue on one ... 
 
but when i was at pick and payless wreckers in sydney there was a mk2 escort there it had the same visors as what i have on mine ..  so maybe if yours are like that gives you a wider range to look for replacement ones of a mk2 escort
