hey guys my old man has a mk2 cortina for sale

basicly he brought in thinking i might want the motor for my mk1 escort but as ive choosen the 1600 kent, the car is no longer needed

1970 mk2 4 door cortina fitted with escort rack and pinion steering,2ltr pinto with a 4 speed gearbox

the body as some bog in the top of the front gaurds besides that is 100% straight and rust free. has had a later model dash put in it at some stage

the sump needs work as its rubed thin on the crossmember so that needs atention its been engineered in qld to

ill be onest with you i have no idea what has been done as my old man brought it, all we wanted was the motor then never used it, from my quick look over it has had a mk2 2ltr complete front end put in, sorry for being not much help cheers luke

Yep, Definately still keen on some pics. There is much talk about R+P conversions on early cortinas, yet not many are actually done.

Everybody does it that little bit differently... would like to see the results...

i tryed to get pics but everything was in the way did get under it looks like a bolt up job! basicly complete 2ltr front end withnew holes redrilled for the rack...
