Going to the parts area at work to discover the parts I needed weren't there because the last person to use them didn't bother to reorder them or tell anyone that he had used the last one!!! Had the customer waiting to get the job done too!! Not Happy!!

The workhorse computer finally poo poo itself after nearly nine years of abuse. Transferring files onto the newish computer is taking much, much longer than i thought it would. How the hell did i manage to get 70 gig of music files?

A Nissan Patrol + bullbar didn't give way on a T junction and hit my poor Focus ST170 in the left front, peeling the guard off, damage to the A post/inner wing frame, bent strut/wheel. the car was trucked away[8~2]. waiting on the assessor for verdict if the car is to be repaired.....or not...Doh.

Try backing up a personal Art folder that's nearly 200gb while the computer is over heating and freezing.

Looks I need a new case for my computer to improve cooling, I think I'll rig up a fan set up using an old AC to DC converter power supply.

Ouch. The new computer is mounted in an Antec case that makes it very silent (P183). The old one sounded like a turbine. It cooked the northbridge chip after a fan failed.
