Paying $600 to have your car sand blasted and etch primed only to find 10 months later that there is tons of rust over the etch even though the car is in a garage [}:)][}:)][}:)]

PS - DO NOT USE Ideal Steam Cleaners in Dry Creek SA

Etch primer will absorb moisture in the air over a few days and will settle on the bare metal resulting in surface rust. The etch primer should be sealed immediately after application with several coats of primer and kept indoors well away from moisture. Even the primer will absorb moisture (because it is porous) over a few months.

Then today im on the highway doing 100 and some prick is doing 60 i poo poo you not, and was going to my turn off so i had to wait it out got jammed behind him. At the lights i yelled out haven't you heard of a freaking accelerator, then he takes off and does 70-80 odd in the 60 zone WTF!

Just found out that there is around 1 metre of floodwater through the workshop where I am building my MK2 Rally car.
thankfully,my engine and rocket box are on a bench that is well above the water.
One positive,it might wassh some of the bog dust out of it.
