I wish to refurbish  my Mk1 Twin Cam heater fan and wiper switches due to age .Both work fine . They are 50m x 25 mm and seem longer than the standard car switches ? Does anyone  know who can recondition them or sell good replacement ones ?

I can.  I might need 2 weeks to get the correct decals and have the chrome done.  Price would be $37.50 each.  Note that I cannot repair chipped or broken surrounds, so that part would have to in good condition before starting.  Im in Melbourne

Gtv6capri, just wondering if you have considered trying the knead it epoxy to fill in cracks and chips in the surrounds?
I'd understand if you idnt want to do it yourself, but maybe the owners could try it before sending to you.
 
I have used some of these products before for other applications, and their adhesive and sanding/filling properties are pretty reasonable.

Problem occurs when the surround gets chromed, it shows up every imperfection and goes dull if the surface isn't pristine.  You can try to repair then coat in 2pac then chrome, but, cost and time make this uneconomical.
