BEE VEE
Hi all,
those of you who know will identify this Gearbox for Kent or Pinto. I was told it is very low mileage and in very good
condition. It comes with Shifter and Bell Housing, as well as Throw Out Fork. I cannot detect any wear and tear on any of the above from the outside. I have not yet examined internally.
Would like to exchange for things in VGC my 1972 GTV6 Capri needs, which includes;  Crash Pad, Instrument Surround, Gearbox, D-port Heads, other D-Port Engine Components, 38DGAS Weber Carby, F & R parcel shelf, etc, etc
I also have this V6 Capri Model RHD which I'm loathe to paint in "Wild Plum" lest someone should swap with me their model in "Wild Plum" for this one here in a colour closer to theirs! (It's in perfect condition inc perfect Box)

Thanks for the great news Glen!  ......

this Box was found in the boot of a 1968 Cortina Mk2 that had a Auto Trans Column Shift selector.  In my wishful thinking, I assumed it was in this car before being converted to Automatic.

....  is the bell housing pattern unique to Escort Kent only ? Will the box fit a Cortina or Capri (Kent or Pinto) 4 cyl bell housing ?  Are any internal components desirable for any other Gearbox ?

The Throwout Lever looked similar to my Capri V6: do you know if it will fit anything other than Escort ?

Guess my gearbox may be appreciated one day by a "purist" or when we run out of Celica Boxes.

Are any 5 speed conversions done with any other than Celica Boxes to your ken ?

Do you think my Cararama model is painted Yellow Fire or Yukon Yellow or none of the Aussie colours ?

All info much appreciated
