Hi All
Just thinking of putting an offer in on a mk1 twin cam with matching numbers etc. it must've had a bingle at the front sometime in its life, as front guards are slightly a different white colour.
Presents well etc
What's the expected price as a guide? Red book never seems any good to go by for classic cars
Thankyou

Sounds like an offer would be worth putting in then based on current asking price. Cheers

I have a 1972 gt1600. I'm asking $45k. It is completely restored with bare metal respray, rebuilt engine and new interior. Red with black interior. Minilites and lots of spare parts

Further developments... After further discussion and research it has had the bottom end swapped over for. 1600 x flow bottom end as the old bottom end had the cracking crank issues. This seems like the only thing which isn't original.
How does this effect the price??
Thanks

Well, this is further interesting.
I was always under the impression that the twin cam was the CK49 shell, however, this one has the CK44 shell.
The following numbers indicate twin cam though 1119
All the other numbers line up on the VIN plate for a twin cam. ie gearbox, motor code etc.
So, I can only assume that a CK44 can also be a twin cam shell.......

This might help or it could just add to the confusion.
