Hi Ionix,

Before you order rear leaf bushes from Superpro have a read here.

Might save some headaches.

Thanks mate. Worth the read. Maybe white line all around then. They seem to be the same price etc.

A few progress pics from the weekend
Fronts brakes are now finally mounted, now just the plumbing from firewall to strut to go.
Diff is all painted and tabs added for r31 caliper conversion.
Tail shaft painted.
Front cowling around radiator painted
Next up is to fit the diff out with brakes and all plumbing.

I had a win with the front brakes and not having to get them machined. I was able to take a small amount out of the inside of the caliper itself to give me the clearance i needed.

I have encountered a small problem with the WXCM and steering coupling, but it appears to be an easy fix where by i just need to get  GRP 4 steering coupling (hopefully its as easy as that)

The next shipment of parts has arrived from Burtons ready for the weekend!
The correct steering knuckle , i hope, for the WCXM
Adjustable lower control arms with new bushes etc
All my brake fittings to plumb up the rear disc brakes.
New diff seal and pinion seal
New rear gear box seal
I have also begun mounting the brackets for the rear disks. What a perfect kit with instructions produced by a member on here!

This should mean, by late Saturday afternoon, the brakes are now functional and steering is back in the car.

Any tips or tricks for bleeding the brakes with the pedal box, or things to look out for? I am sure I will have a leak somewhere in the line with doing my own flares etc, but that will be put down to experience.

Didn't get a far as I wanted this weekend. Got the diff back in and plumbed.
Got the lower control arms in and steering back in but didn't get to get the brakes up and running.

A successful couple of hours over the weekend!
Brake system fully bled with only one leak, which was a result of the fitting not being tight enough.
First time at making brake lines so i was happy with that result.
The trick i found was putting the tool in the vice so you could hold it steady while filing and turning the press on the dies.
Now to sort out the hand brake, get oils back in the diff and gearbox, wheels back under it and get it wired back up again.
Did anyone find an aftermarket radiator off ebay which fits well into the original location? I don't want to do any cutting or welding now that it has all been painted.
Mine has been damaged and was just looking at an alternative of getting a cheapy to get it back on the road.

Well done on the brake lines, I'm about to bleed mine in a couple of weeks, my first time at making them too, hope I have your luck... Spoke to a guy who bought one of those cheap ally radiators from ebay, turned out to be pretty nasty, best to be avoided.
Keep up the good work, you should be on the road in no time... Drew...

Best of luck Drew!
I did have an issue originally with the feed from my pedal box to my lines, but swapped this over for a banjo bolt and braided line and all was good.
Thanks for advice re alloy radiator. I might spend the time getting mine fixed then
