Hi after recommendations for brake pads for the Volvo tx3 combosIm currently running the original Volvo pads.I was thinking of lines of ebc red or green.I think the smka kit uses red. Anything but ulitmax .. Cheers guys

There is no single answer to that question.  Intended usage and driving style need to be considered, dust and noise etc.
 
Is it a track car or a road car as the ideal choice would be entirely different

Gdub is exactly correct. Either post what you are going to be using the car for or contact a brake specialist. In QLD you could contact Steve Williams at WRS, 07 5502 3636. He, like me, is an agent for a lot of brands including Ferodo, Pagid, Hawk, Endless and Brembo.
