Hi Guys , does anyone here own a street registered efi escort that has gone through engineering? I'm wondering what are the hoops ill have to jump through in order to legally run the car on EFI. What have some of you had to do to get a roadworthy certificate with this set up?

What sort of injection system are you looking at? To pass engineering with injection, you need to make sure you meet emission standards and that you have the right plumbing for accidents or emergencies. You're going to need the right high pressure pump and lines, you cant run standard lines and you need all the overflow lines from the injection system back to the tank. I think thats about it.
 

Cheers, all of that im aware of no offence but the exact specifics of what emission parts ill need is what im after or what list of things you may have had to do . The sierra manifold is what im thinking of running and it will be turbocharged .

Hi, If you were in NSW I would advise you to talk to a engineer as they would have say over the car being regoed. Do you need a engineer in Vic ?

Yeh i have one here in Victoria i just wanted some knowledge before i speak to him about, i was hoping someone here may have gone through the process already.
