I have a pair of RS2000 seat that need repairs. The seat webbing has sagged and needs replacing. How should the webbing be under the seat? Thanks.

From memory the webbing crisscrosses from one side of the underframe to the other and is held in place by metal clips. If you can take out one  of the strips you should be able to get a local upholsterer to match the material. If not google " global trim " and contact Ben, the owner. He specializes in repairing Scheel seats, very helpful and gives advice for free.

Yes, as you suspected the webbing has to be tight. I had the car out this arvo so got a couple of pics- access was a bit cramped as the seats are fitted in the car but shots came out not too bad.

Hi Len,  Thanks that answers my questions, I took one seat out today and the webbing is badly stretched and been played with in the past. I have cut it out and will be replacing it. It will be good to sit on the seat with out falling through.  Regards Peter.
